2017
TREAT U was one of the 6 finalists in the Everis Awards (Spain). The 2017 edition received more than 1.260 requests from 28 countries and was divided into 3 categories: Industrial & energetic technologies; New business models from digital economy; and Biotechnology & health, in which TREAT U was distinguished with the PEGASEMP project, alongside Higía Technologies (México).

2016
In the competition Road 2 Web Summit, TREAT U was one of the 67 startups (out of 170) selected to represent Portugal in the Web Summit 2016, held for the first time in Portugal. The event took place in Lisbon’s Beato Creative Hub, on September 21.

TREAT U won Most Promising Company Award in life sciences, promoted by Go4Venture and Portugal Ventures, in the 1st Portugal International Investors Forum. The event took place at the Lapa Palace in Lisbon on September 19.

2013
On November 7, 2013 TREAT U, SA achieved the recognition of reputation for research and development activities in the technical and scientific areas of Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Oncology. Published in Diário da República, 2nd series – No 225 – November 20 – Order No. 15079/2013.
TREAT U was distinguished in the Top 50 Hottest Startups in Portugal, on BioTech category, promoted by Explorers Festival & NovaWeb. The announcement was made on November 1, 2013.
The poster entitled: Assessing the potential of nucleolin-targeted strategies against Lung Cancer resistant to anti-VEGF therapies won the Best Poster Presentation Award by Roche in the category of Translational & Clinical Research, at XXII Porto Cancer Meeting & III Porto-Bordeaux Joint Meeting – Translational Research in Cancer – Bringing Basic Science and Pathology to Clinical Oncology, held in IPATIMUP Auditorium, Oporto, on April 11 to 12, 2013.

The research work led by João Nuno Moreira on breast cancer, was honored by the Portuguese Society of Senology, in the 2012 National Congress of Senology.
TREAT U was distinguished by Maksen, an innovation specialized consultant, as one of the 5 companies (from a total of 45) with the greatest potential for innovation and economic, social and ambient impact, owing to PEGASEMP™‘s potential in the treatment of breast cancer.

The doctoral thesis of Vera Moura – ”Combining targeted and triggered drug delivery to tumor cells and the tumor microenvironment – a novel strategy on cancer therapeutics”, was awarded with the Portuguese-Spanish Society of Controlled Release best doctoral thesis 2011 (2nd place).

The team was semi-finalist in the competition 2010 ISCTE-IUL MIT Portugal Venture.
TREAT U was awarded with the second place in the competition 2010 Idea to Product I2P, by COTEC.
